New York holds a special place in my life and career.
My adventure began when I got my Masters in Economics in the United States, after which I studied Financial Risk Management at New York University (NYU). My first investment job took me to an iconic location: 30 Broad Street, right next to the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). From the office of First Federal Consulting Inc., on the 46th floor, I had a spectacular view of the New York Harbor and could even see the Statue of Liberty.

Every day the gladiators of the financial world flowed past:
From investment bankers and brokers to equity analysts, hedge fund managers, and market makers, Wall Street was a place of life and energy, a battleground where everyone was trying to carve out their place in the fast-paced, demanding game of investing. Here, at the heart of the financial world, investing became my “first love” and I found the drive to always persevere.
New York showed me that life is manageable and that vision and determination can take you far. It is that energy that I still feel today and that inspires me to get the most out of my work.
